What needs to happen to make a rainbow?
asked 29 weeks ago in Weather & Atmosphere
It is related to the refraction of light. When light reflects on the surface of water or a substance that would produce a rainbow, it produces different wavelengths of light. These wavelengths have colors associated with them. For example, shorter wavelengths result in bluish colors, while longer ones result in reddish ones.
