Is nuclear energy a renewable resource?

No, nuclear energy, which is derived from splitting uranium atoms, is not a renewable resource.  Nuclear energy involves mining uranium.  Mining is not a renewable form of obtaining resources because it involves taking from the earth without the ability to give it back.
